Ayesha Howard is addressing the public after reports surfaced that a Georgia judge ordered NBA star Anthony Edwards to pay $3,222 per month in child support for their daughter, Aubri’ Summers.

Following the headlines, Howard took to Instagram to share her side of the story, saying she is aware of the speculation surrounding her family and the legal proceedings.

“I am fully aware of the rumors and narratives circulating online regarding my family and my child’s financial future,” she wrote.

Howard claimed that much of the information being shared online is inaccurate, accusing some blogs of spreading misleading stories to protect Edwards’ public image.

“Much of what is being published by blogs—some of which have been paid to spin narratives to protect a client’s reputation—is entirely false and disconnected from reality,” she said.

She also made serious allegations about Edwards’ involvement as a father, stating that she is “the mother of one out of three children who have been abandoned by a celebrated athlete.”

Howard went on to deny accusations that she and the other mothers are pursuing Edwards solely for financial gain. She said her legal team has documentation related to the case and believes the facts will eventually speak for themselves.

Closing her statement, Howard urged people not to believe everything circulating online.

“Rumors will not dictate the final outcome,” she wrote.

Neither Edwards nor his representatives have publicly responded to Howard’s latest statement.
