It looks like television star Serayah and rapper Joey Bada$$ are officially done.
The Empire actress, Serayah McNeil, announced that she has called off their engagement, saying repeated infidelity played a major role in her decision to end the relationship.
The couple had been together for years and welcomed their son in 2025. McNeil said walking away wasn’t easy because she loved Joey and believed in the future they were building together.
But according to Serayah, the cheating allegedly happened repeatedly, including during some major moments in their relationship. She explained that she ultimately had to choose herself and stop compromising her values and self-worth.
Serayah also made it clear that their son is still her priority. She said she plans to protect his privacy and maintain his relationship with both parents.
But that wasn’t the end of it.
Serayah later posted and deleted material that appeared to include a recorded conversation involving Joey and another woman. During her Instagram Story, Serayah said she had evidence to support what she was alleging.
“I have my f**king receipts,” she said.
Serayah went further, describing how their private relationship differed from what Joey had promised her.
“I am so f**king upset, and I don’t know if one day I’ll regret this, but right now, I don’t regret it, because this person has been a literal piece of st to me in private,” she said in the now-deleted Story.
Serayah claimed Joey proposed, encouraged her to build a life with him, and continued telling her he wanted their relationship after she discovered alleged cheating.
She ultimately shut the door on the possibility of being talked back into the relationship, stating, “There’s no podcast he can get on, sweet talk in the world, it’s over with.”
Later, Serayah shared in her Instagram stories a cake her friends gifted her as comfort for their breakup that read “F*** that N*gga!”
Joey Bada$$ has not publicly responded to Serayah’s cheating allegations as of Monday.
