Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell are officially husband and wife!
The singer and actress married the NBA star on Friday, August 1, in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and close friends. The wedding comes a little over a year after the couple announced their engagement, and fans couldn’t be happier to see them start this new chapter together.
Photos and videos from the big day have already started making the rounds online, showing the couple sharing a sweet first dance and celebrating with their loved ones. Several familiar faces were also in attendance, including Ciara and Russell Wilson, Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson and Bam Adebayo.

According to sources, Ciara and Russell have previously confirmed that they played a role in bringing Coco and Donovan together. Ciara described helping her friends find love as a “fun game” and said the couple also helped connect Normani with NFL player DK Metcalf. The duo met in person at an exclusive networking event for creatives in 2023. The NBA star already knew who she was because his shoe line collaborated with the show Bel-Air, which Jones starred in. Mitchell shared he slid into her Instagram DMs, though she never saw the message and responded.
“He said he sent something with a red heart and that wouldn’t have worked for me anyways,” Jones added that she felt lucky that they found each other years later. “That’s how you know it’s above us; it’s God. We’re meant to be” she told People.
Although Coco and Donovan have always kept their relationship private, they’ve shared a few special moments with fans along the way. Jones posted a loved-up picture of herself and Mitchell with her ring to announce their engagement on July 11, 2025.
According to People, singer Ciara and NFL Star Russell Wilsone also revealed they were behind helping the duo get engaged. After confirming their engagement in July 2025, Coco spoke openly about how excited she was for marriage and praised Donovan for always supporting her career.
